I would start 50 real estate companies. One in each of the 50 United States. This way I can see the country as a business expense. My employees in each state will be tasked with buying up property that is distressed (foreclosure-abandon). By adding life to these properties the company would turn $200 Million into $400 Million every two years. I would be happy with 3 fold return on investment locked at 5.5% for 20 to 30 years.
The rest of the profit go to the employees of the company.

Buy an island in the South Pacific, build a huge luxury resort on it, and move all family members there and have fun till I croak...No more work, no more bills, just fishing, hanging out in the pool, drinking beer and having a good time. I know, donating it to homeless people would be the right thing to do, but this is just a fantasy, anyway, right ???I suppose there would be plenty left over for charity purposes as well...

I think if I had a billion dollars I would give most of it to my mom. Considering I'm underage anyway. I would buy several things I wanted but the money would be a great help with the house imortent things. Although I think I would love to use it to help aid a musical career for me. I would love to sing publically but I need a few lessons.

I would hire a financial planner, invest the money ,live off the interest, give to charity(disadvantaged kids),move out of town where I would build a nice home, and then build another summer home by the Pacific Ocean, made sure my family would never go without.Help raise my grandchildren comfortably.Made sure the money would stay in the family where they could live comfortably for the next generations to come.

I would deposit all that money in a bank, earn interest and live off of that money without worrying for the rest of my life. The earning on interests of that money would be more than I will ever need in my life so I would donate monthly to charities, church, needy people.

Make some investments to make sure our future is VERY secure, pay for the kids college NOW, even though they are babies and donate the rest to homeless/abused children and animals foundations.

1) pay off all bills, the mortgage, buy a couple of new cars & remodel house
2) fund for retirement / savings,
3) college fund for grandkid(s),
4) donate to charity & to my church
I could then have fun instead of busting my butt all the time - I'd work at Disneyland.
