In Internet Explorer go: Tools>Options>General>Browsing History>Delete
In Firefox: Tools>Clear Private Data

Go on-line and get a program called Web Wipe, it is great clears all passwords that are held on your computer and all searches done on your computer and all pre filled forms, oh also cookies.

We use it at home and work and it helps with security on all computers.
