Judy was robbed, I think , Grace Kelly was in a film that was less than memorable, The Country Girl, seriously, anyways, Judy was on somewhat of a comeback , a slap to the face for Hollywood. Judy was just got dropped from MGM, where she became very successful and starred in many of their films, most notably The Wizard Of Oz(her most famous film), Meet Me In St.Louis, (where she met the father of her child Liza Minnelli) so this was her departure from MGM, it was a Warner Brothers film, she looked so beautiful in it, as usual she delivered with her singing , and her acting was superb as a struggling, singer with an alcoholic husband, sadly Judy lost but her role in that film will live on forever.Peter O'Toole really deserved that Oscar, Claude Rains was amazing as an supporting actor Casablanca, but so was Margaret Hamilton in her terrifying Performance in The Wizard Of Oz, and last but not least, its a shame Debbie Reynolds, lost to Julie Andrews for her weak Performance in my opinion for Mary Poppins, I enjoyed it but to silly for an Oscar.

Tom Cruise, crazy weird short guy that he is...

Possibly a good thing, the Oscar statue might be taller than he!! They would probably also have to lower the lecturn for him to give his acceptance speech, or bring out a little box to stand on... but hey, that might bring a bit of much needed humour to these events!
