CARACAS, Venezuela - Meat cuts vanished from Venezuelan supermarkets this week, leaving only unsavory bits like chicken feet, while costly artificial sweeteners have increasingly replaced sugar, and many staples sell far above government-fixed prices

the reason these staples are so scarce in Venezuela is because Bush flies down there to steal all the supplies from the stores. he's a very busy little beaver, what with the war and all that he is personally waging! just remember that it's all Bush's fault

Of all the economic systems prcticed by man only free market capitalisim with a rule of law and representitve government has been known to provide the highest standard of living to the highest percentage of people within that pollis. You ever see those ads Citgo runs on tv trying to "gift" heating oil to Americans from the "people" of Venenzuela? I'll never get gas at a Citgo again.

Aleksander you are an idiot! Whenever American corporations get involved in another country, they HELP that country by increasing jobs and offering higher wages! If the wages were LOWER, and the corporations exploited their workers, then the wouldn't go to work there now would they?
