and that we need to repent before it's too late. That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Obvioulsy there are people living lustful lifestyles, but why must people generalize that to homosexuals? There are plenty of heterosexuals living lustful lifestyles as well. Why can't people realize that everyone has the capacity to be in a loving and caring relationship and that sexual orientation has nothing to do with it.

It's true that there are lots of heterosexuals living lustful lifestyles, and those people are equally in need of repentance before it is too late. A man who sleeps with a new woman every weekend and is unrepentant of that lifestyle is just as much in danger of damnation as one who sleeps with other men. The only acceptable sexual relationship is that of a man and a woman who are married and never cheat on each other. Anything else whatsoever is a sin that needs to be repented of.

I am gay. And what i am about to say is not homophobic. Its just truth. Actually, the gay community has split. You have gay people who sleep around all day having sex all the time complaining that gay marriage will never get legilized, and then you have gay people who work hard trying to get it legilized and those gay people get killed, harrased and stuff and its horrible. Some gay people need to just stop the ****. They party and sex every night just to show that they have PRIDE. Well, thats not PRIDE. It's stupidity. And there aren't a whole bunch of gay people helping out and trying to do great stuff. Only very few are. They get mixed in with the lusty types, and horrible things start to happen and its just wrong. again, not trying to be a homophic gay person. Just telling it like it is.

Religion and the media are some of the biggest controlling factors in society. People usually go by what their told, rather then thinking for themselves and homosexual just happens to be one of the things their told is wrong. Not to mention many heterosexual men don't like seeing gay sex and thus quite a few of them go out their to harm homosexuals in any way possible, but lust after lesbians who look like super models.

tough question. I too ama gay man who went through his lustful, slut phase. Thank God (and I mean that literally) I finally prayed and found a man to dedicate myself to... we've been happily partnered for years, and while we have issues, doesn't every couple? An interesting book on this subject is The Velvet Rage. Basically the author beleives that many gay men are promiscuous because they are shameful of themselves and are seeking outside validation. It's imperative that gay men work on self-concept and esteem issues... Love yourself or no one will, right?

A lustful lifestyle? haha. I live a fairly solitary life with a few close friends, most of whom are straight. And I like my life just fine!!

Those people are only spouting what people tell them. They don't spend enough time reading the ENTIRE Bible, and get too hung up on specific verses OUT OF CONTEXT, in order to justify their homophobia!

It's easier to, to paraphrase their Bible, remove the splinter from another's eye than a beam from your own. Even if the splinter is imaginary. They're distracting themselves from working on themselves.

because God says in the Bible for man & woman to unite as one. As a Christian, I think being gay & all that crap is against God the Father & the Holy Bible. He doesn't say, "man & man, (or woman & woman) to become one flesh." If God made it like that, it would be right. But He didn't. So it is horribly wrong. It's sick & twisted. And people like that will go to hell. I am just telling it like it is.
