More details: We set up a D Link wireless router which worked okay except my friend could not access her outlook remotely. Our techy friend came round and did some unknown stuff and subsequently none of the internet connections work at all (on the PC or laptops) - re-setting then reinstalling the D Link router came up with an error with the WAN setting. We also noticed the IP address had changed. Help?!

the internet can't be broken. its billions of computers networked together. not all of those computers can go down at one time. your ISP may be down though. Call your ISP before the tech guy. it may have been temporarily down. if they say nothing is wrong check all connections to the router. if their fine call the tech guy. It probably be cheaper to get a new router because there only like $100
