It would depend on what you like. I prefer techno, trance, electronica and any form of Japanese rock or pop.
As far as I go, I'd recommend anything from Ian van Dahl, Miyavi (He goes by MYV now, I think), Dir en Grey, DJ Tiesto, or An Cafe.
Just my suggestions.
You might also want to go to a good MP3 rotation site and sample what they have. Find one with good diversity, that covers a lot of genres.

Jack Johnson is good artist, he's an easy listening kinda genre, but he's got some good songs. Also if you want to check out some jazz/blues then Nina Simone is awesome! And of course theirs Jimi Hendrix, you can never go wrong with Jimi!

Jack Johnson songs:
Banana Pancakes
Sitting, Watching, Waiting
Upside Down
Broken

Nina Simone songs:
I need a little sugar in my bowl
Suzanne (Redo of Leonard Cohen)
Ne me quite pas
You'll go to Hell
Black is the color of my true loves hair
Here comes the Sun

Jimi Hendrix songs:
Redhouse
Little Wing (Stevie Ray Vaughn does a good version also)
Castles made of sand
Purple Haze
Hey Joe
Voodoo Child

OH YEAH! And Black Magic Woman by Santana is an awesome song! Good one Fonzie T!!
