Why does Bush cut educational radio and television funding in Public radio and television? Is he afraid of something? Does he have to rob little children of Sesame Street? Maybe he hopes they will grow up and be as stupid as he is. What is next?

Wow. If anyone had a brain at PBS their stuff would already be funded by getting a part of the merchandising check. Then we wouldn't be subjected to their constant begging for cash. And you though all those liberals were smart. HA!!! What a joke.

And you are surprised from a moron who had a C average and bragged to a commencement ceremony about it. This from a moron who admitted he didn't like to read books. This from an idiot who needed a translator for My Pet Goat.
He is by far the most stupid, idiotic, imbecilic illegal resident this country has had the misfortune to endure.
And if these were actually funded by Congress and someone told him that Congress was going to slash Nascar, Hee Haw, The Beverly Hillbillies and Reba, then he'd use his second veto to overturn that.
White piece of drunken trash.
I need to amend this reply. I did indeed forget to mention cokehead, deserter, liar, thief, coward, cheerleader, cheater, halfwit (sorry, no wit) and murderer (for all the lives lost in the Iraq war because of his lies)

Geez, don't you understand how a fuedal system works? If you keep the serfs from getting their education you can dupe them into thinking that slaving away under you is a much safer alternative than doing anything else. Do you think all those Kings and vassals in the middle ages kept their titles by providing the serfs with a fair, public education system?
Added bonus, if all your serfs are uneducated idiots, they wont notice that you are an uneducated idiot also!

Bush had SAT scores of less than 1100. Education is NOT a high priority with this President.

Hell it took him 15 minutes to puzzle out "My Pet Goat" in Florida.

Bush wants everybody else to be as illiterate as he is. A few choice quotes from our Mr. President follow:

"In my judgment, when the United States says there will be serious consequences, and if there isn't serious consequences, it creates adverse consequences." - Meet the Press, 2/8/04

"I know what I believe. I will continue to articulate what I believe and what I believe - I believe what I believe is right." - Rome, 7/22/01

"You teach a child to read, and he or her will be able to pass a literacy test." - Tennessee, 2/21/01

PBS is also funded by the people. why not let the people pay for their own sesame street who watch it?
NPR - yeah right that's a joke. i have no problem with them no longer being funded by my tax dollars!
besides, when will people understand if it wasn't for those tax dollars, the wr would be over here and we wouldn't have time to watch or listen to either. ithink people need to buck up and take responsibility for their own wants and needs and let the feds do things that are more globally impactful.

He didn't cut these, though he should as they are nothing but a front for DNC! If you really want to fund these stop spending in foreign aide at $480 billion a year!
