Is it true that Canada has a better Quality of life? The States might have a better economy but Canada is more socialized. Public Health care is a big one for example.

Would you agree that as a whole; the average Canadian is better off than the average American?

For one, Canadian Cities as a whole are far safer and cleaner than their American counterparts.

Yes, Canada also has no welfare to speak of.

Welfare is the cancer that is bringing this country into the toilet.

america is a cesspool of corruption, bloated human beings waddling down the line sucking from large soda containers, slobbish bodies and brutish habit. Canada is the different - a miles extra stepped forward civilization via far. Toronto replaced into voted #a million city interior the worldwide for high quality of life in spite of its site visitors jam. And Vancouver is often on the right additionally. No American city is ever interior the right 10 nonetheless i think of NYC may be the exception. Corporatism (no longer capitalism) has destroyed united states of america and non secular lunatics

I guess weather is my biggest "Quality of Life" factor.

Surly, those who love snow, cold, and long summer nights would have high quality in Canada or Northern USA. Many also prefer warmer climates and less seasonal adjustments which would make the Southern USA a better quality of life; tropical lovers may love Mexico more.

One persons music doesn't conform to all people tastes in music.

I myself am VERY hesitant about Universal Medical treatment. I believe that the medicine is great in the USA, and more should be done to keep this independant from the Government.

Hockey fans would have a higher quality of life in Canada, football fans would enjoy the USA more, and soccar players would probably love Mexico.

Religion is also a major contributor to the quality of life. Certainly Canada has many religious freedoms. Geographically, religions bunch together... as too in the USA ... different regions have higher concentrations of religions than others.

I am a roller coaster junkie --- and find that the thrill rides are more plentiful in the USA over Canada or Mexico.

Education --- Close tie between Canada and the USA.

Job opportunities --- Varies between different regions of each country.

So, I guess it all comes down to personal preference.

I think your going to have many polarized opinions from asking a question like this based on peoples geographic location. Canadians are essentially americans in many many ways. The differences are subtle at best. Where I think quality of life can differ greatly is when we all are compared to other international countries.

Well, everyone has a different opinion. But for me personally, I would not trade my home in SouthWestern Georgia for nothing. Long, hot summer days and nights, winter temperatures averaging in the 60s. I love it.

So, If you like snow, move to Canada. If you like it warm, Head South!

If Canadians have better health care why do they come here for operations? their health care system is great if you have a cold but if its worse than that say your prayers. They can literally say sorry we have spent all the funds this year so you dont get an operation (isnt socialism grand?) As for safer just keep ignoring your little Muslim problem and they will take care of that.

I am Canadian. I have stayed in both countries. I can say that there are some good things in USA that we don't have here and some good things here that they don't have in USA.

My favorite in USA are their laws. Life in prison / jail is life, not 10 years like here in Canada. Our canadian justice system is a joke.
