Hitler.

He was a student of Socialist Secularism and Darwinism. Under Socialism (also called fascism, as defined by Mussolini) the individual is defined by its role in the State system. Many individuals may not be desirable or useful to the State system so they are either re-educated or eliminated. Darwinism played a role as Hitler used it as an excuse to define a 'master race' that would force less 'evolved' races to submit to the Master State System.

Jews, Gypsies, Gays, expressionist artists, intellectuals, Christians and many others were considered 'not useful' to the Socialist State so they were targeted for removal. It is not their fault Hitler chose that path.

At worst, they might be blamed for merely trying to live their lives as they had in previous years rather than fighting against the Socialist threat that was about to exterminate them. However, if you look at current situations, you will see that Socialists today gain power with the same sort of 'For the People' sales pitch and it works. Marketing is a powerful psychological tool and Leftists excel at it.

I have a hard time blaming those who were duped.

I would like to take this opportunity to praise those who showed courage in the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising. May all people be so brave when confronted by Socialist tyranny.

Choice A

Hitler and his propaganda machine...He had mentors though, he was taught these things throughout his life so they may be to blame as well...

Though, I almost chose answer C. The Jews were warned, and didn't listen resulting in them obediently walking to there death's. In there defense though, doesn't the holocaust seem unbelievable? The things that took place are an abomination, beyond human nature. It sounds like the best horror story on earth, like straight out of evil fairy tale land. Then you remember it is true. If I was in there shoes, I may not have believed it could go that far either.....but they can never say they weren't warned. Very sad.

A- hitler! he's the one who incited his people and find someone to blame for the shame the Germans suffered from World War I. I mean come on, is it really ALL the jews' fault that the Germans lost WWI? Totally not fair for Hitler to heap all the blame on the Jews and declare the Aryan race to be superior to everyone else! That's why he started and was responsible for the holocaust!

They were deeply thinking Communism and a "danger to the Aryan race". some eu Jews who fled on the prompt were even refused get entry to into e.g. u . s .. Hitler didnt basically awaken one morning and are available up with the "Jewish venture" and say "hi shall we blame the Jews" (besides the actual shown reality that for sure many possibility free liberal Jews were savagely murdered.) they little question have brought about alot of issues their lengthy historic previous of persecution isnt for relaxing.

Hitler. No question about it. It was his idea, his decision, his responsibility.

There is nothing a group of people could do that would deserve the sort of systematic, deliberate, brutal, inhumane, torture, dehumanization and slaughter that the Germans gave the Jews, Gypsies, homosexuals, handicapped and political opponents of the Nazis during the Holocaust.

Hitler!!

Sure, the jews wanted to kill themselves by the millions.

Hitler and the Nazi regime were very secretive about the 'Final Solution.' Hitler didn’t want to leave an evidence trail that would inflame his own population or the leadership of other countries.
Heinrich Himmler, the head of the SS, in a speech given at Poznan (Posen, Poland) to a meeting of SS Major Generals on October 4, 1943, acknowledged how secret the Final Solution was: “We will never speak of it publicly. . . I mean the evacuation of the Jews, the extermination of the Jewish race. …. The Jewish race is being exterminated…that’s quite clear, it’s in our program—elimination of the Jews and we’re doing it, exterminating them” . . . This is a page of glory in our history which has never been written and is never to be written . . .”

Hitler. He used the Jews as a scapegoat for the awful Germany depression since they ran the banks. It really wasn't the Jewish populations fault, since Germany was under tough sanctions after World War One. So he blamed the Jews and started rounding them up. So you really can't blame the victims here.

I go with D) Stalin

Here me out, During the German Election of '29 Stalin was fighting for world socialist revolution with the United Front from below. He instructed German Communists not to vote in the '29 elections and the Nazi party ended up winning. Had the Communist in Germany voted the outcome and world history as we know it may be very different.
