Go to some busy little hole-in-the-wall restaurant at peak lunchtime and try to pick out the most tired, haggard-looking, burnt-out, aggravated waitress.
Order something cheap. When the check comes, give her a $100 bill and tell her to keep the change. When she gives you that blank stare that means "what the heck is going on here?", just say:
"This is to remind you to find something to be thankful for in every day and every person you meet! Have a nice day!"
"Fun" is at its best when you (and anyone else involved) can remember it for the rest of your lives.

My girl and I could go get dinner and then head to a concert. Drink, dance, have a great time. Most likely have some cash leftover for breakfast in the morning as well.
