When I was driving around 40mph, I hit something that looked like this

it got stuck, so i had to drag it until i entered a neighborhood to pull it out.

now my car smells very weird, sort of like burning fire ? I am very worried, will it be okay? .

Likely just the friction from the object rubbing if you smelled it in the car as it was/immidiately after hitting/dragging the object...

If it persists or smells like something burning other than plastic(or "burning fire") then have it looked at to make sure it didnt rupture anything. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK VITAL FLUIDS BEFORE your restart your car. If it was a harder item than you thought and drained a tank while you drove you'll be in trouble(also look under your car for fluids

Take the car to a drive-thru carwash. More than likely that canister had something in it and it spilled underneath the car's bottom and is smelling with the heat of the engine.

Ever run over a piece of plastic? It smells for days!

that looks like a milk jug.whats probably happened is a piece of the plastic got stuck on the exhaust and now is burning.

well, your not suppose to be smelling that, so the thing i would do is take it to the mechanic, and let them check it out, or find someone that you know has mechanic experience to come and take a look under your car.
