or even judging her life supposed to be an endorsement of a positive soul?

I also feel sad for what the child now faces in life and I do understand anyone making that comment. I'm just stricken by the unfavorable comments I've read by some said in the SAME breath and context about the mother (another human life). Does voicing disapproval bring so much joy that the context is irrelevant?

When Ms. Smith was doing things held in an unfavorable light there was no shortage of unflattering photos of her to show in the print and television media. I notice now, at the time of her death, the photos are different. Sometimes I think empathy and forgiveness give way to sport.

i am truly shocked! there is small consolation that she may be with her son now, she mourned him so deeply. i understand society's impulse to attack, but i believe that we should forgive all misdeeds of life in death. she just has not been "herself" since daniel died. she always had a media strength and exuberance that shined through everything. it seemed that something significant within her died with him. i hope she is at peace. my deepest sympathies go out to mr. stern and danilynn. it was clear through the recent interviews that he cared deeply for her with all of his efforts (however futile) to protect her in the recent media blitz over her children and personal tragedies.

goodbye anna nicole, and god speed.

No, some people just express themselves differently than others. They do feel sorry for the little one left behind, but depending on HOW Anna Nicole died will depend on their sympathy for her. If she dies of natural causes, they would be more sympathetic than if she offed her own self. Regardless, there is a child who is left motherless and that is a sad, sad thing. So these people are not trying to endorse the fact that they have a postive soul, they are making a sympathetic statement to an innocent child.

Well it could go many ways. If she commited suicide then, it's sort of confusing. I mean think about it, she just had a baby back in September, then her son died 2 weeks later. Both Howard and the other guy are fighting over paternity rights, and then she gets slammed with a lawsuit over TrimSpa. It would be too much to handle for one person, but she should be used to it by now. Remember way back when she married the 89 y/o guy, then she fought for his pension, then rec'd 0! I think it might have to do with her lawyer, but it's a little presumptuous on my part to even think anything too soon.
Poor Danielynn. She will probably live off her mother's royalties, but will she also live with her mother's problems and debts? Now we have to think about the baby even though she's young.

The thing that I feel sorry for is that baby is not really going to know her momma. Sure she will know her by the pictures and what other people is saying about her but she want really know her. Like what is her mother favorite food, or her color, and just having her real mother there for her. That is why I feel sorry for her. Now if it would have involved drugs. Then no I wouldn't. Anna did love her kids.

I don't know, you tell me!! I've been watching the same thing for an hour. Guess I'm driven rum-dumb by the news. It's sad though the way they made so much fun of her when she was alive and now they are listing all the reasons her life was tragic. Very sad. Peace.

it's sad both ways. it is sad because we dont know why she died. if she committed suicide, then i have no respect for her FOR leaving that baby behind. if she died from a cardiac problem, it's awful, both for her and for the baby. people can care about the baby because she is seen as an innocent life.... whereas Anna Nicole has made crazy decisions in her life that people like to put her down for. it just should remind everyone not to judge until you walk in their shoes.

I was one of the people who wrote that I feel sorry for Anna's baby, simply because I DO.
However, I also wrote how sad it is a such a young woman died!

EMS: I agree with your comment, we don't know what caused Anna's death. Yes, she has made many mistakes but, you could tell she loved DanniLynn with her whole heart. I thought it was cute when she would say "Mommy's Love" to DanniLynn and kissing her on the forehead.
