I've been married two years and in those two years i have leaved a life like that of the woman in *Dairy Of a mad black woman* My husband was so cruel to me and treated me so bad but i still stuck by him cos whenever i tried to leave he would black mail me.. I am still here but God knows i do not Love him one ounce, i forgave him for all his wrongs cos that is just who i am * forgiving* he says he has changed but i think he is just suppressing the real him cos sometimes i can feel the old him is still there.. you are wondering why i am still here.. He is ill and i honestly pity leaving him alone.. i would hate to stoop to his level.. Pls tell me i am not being a fool.

if he is mean to you why would you feel that you owe him anything although a little disturbed by the blackmail thing he apparently is looking out for himself which should certainly leave you off the hook //life is to short to be mistreated there is more to life than living your life because you feel obligated,i am sorry he is ill but he certainly hasnt been worried about your feelings//why would you think you would be stooping to his level by not going to be mistreated any further(leave or make him go)......good luck and God Bless

all these negative feelings about him will not go away, you are harboring the first signs of hate. You do realize this right? You will end up hating him sooner rather than later. Give this up, and try to start your life anew. You can't pity someone and stay with them because you feel sorry for them. No one wants a pity party. It may be hard at 1st but you need to make yourself happy and he will have no one to rely on but himself, he'll buck up quickly!

LEAVE HIM! what are you doing with a man like that? u should live your life and be happy. you'll only feel sorry for him if you leave him because he's ill. but you wont be hurt because you DO NOT love him at all. i say move on because your life is being wasted with someone that is not worth it.

Well i'm not gonna tell you your not being a fool cuz i would never allow myself to stay with someone i know i don't love and you shouldn't reallly either. God could have the perfect someone out there for you and your to busy trying to deal with his crap.

You have every right to leave him! If you don't feel safe then you need to leave him! He treated you terrible and he says "he's changed" but you know dam right in your heart that he's full of crapola. Leave him before he takes things to a different level.

What ever he has to blck mail you can not be as bad as what he is doing to you now..I would pack my things and hit the door him being sick or not..Life is to short to ba held back by some one like him..Good luck

no u are not wrong to stick by him even though he treated u poorly. they say never to repay bad for more bad. if he is sick than it is fine to stay and help him, but if he becomes abusive or hateful u need to leave the relationship and not put yourself in any danger.
