A truly "good" life is one which has added some measure of positive worth to mankind. When you are on your deathbed, and you are recounting the postives and negatives over the years, it will be helpful to be able to say that others were better off because you came and touched their lives. It should be the goal of each one to make some positive difference in somebody's life as often as possible.
If you equate a "good" life as also being a "happy" life, it will NOT happen until you actually share yourself with others. To make the point: Which makes any person happiest...having something wonderful happen to him and keeping all that to yourself OR sharing that moment with another? See what I mean...big difference when we share our experience here on this planet.
A good life is a happy life is a shared life.

there is only life. and it perpetuates itself.
who decides what is good? If each fills his own definition, then it is when all desires are met.
are you asking about happiness or the quality of life? A just life is met by morals. A happy life is met through acceptance.
I hope that people think that I've lead my life well enough to say "he lived a good life". I would be content enough with that.

Well, Marko, mine's pretty good, lol.
I've been married close to 37 yrs. to a great woman, I'm retired from 33 yrs. of manufacturing with all 10 fingers and a healthy back.
I'm living in an area with beautiful natural surroundings, and I'm working on my 3rd CD of original songs.
Life is pretty good for me.

A Life spent following Gods Plan. God Has a plan and destiny and a plan for all of us and it is much better than any thing we could ever plan out. Even if it means time in the prisons of china or executed in Sudan and made a martyr it still would be a good life becuase God has heaven in store for you. and im not saying all of us will be sent to the prisons of china or Sudan but iwe accomplished something in life for God.
I trade my life for the one God has for me
How about you?

A good life? I think its differnt for everyone.
I think growing up with a stable family in a nice home. Being involved in sports, with great academics. Graduating, continuing on to college, finding a solid good paying job. Surrounding yourself with loved ones and a wonderful family. Finding yourself and what makes you happy. =)
