Can somebody please interpret this dream for me?

Question

It goes something like this. I'm sleeping on the bus on my way to work and my briefcase is spilled. I had money in that briefcase...a lot of money but its now gone - stolen by everybody else. My suit is torn to bits. Then a bunch of goth kids beat me up. I get off the bus and try to hide. I then try to get to a police station to report the incident with my torn up clothes. My pants are now like shorts and it is cold. When I get to the police station, I report the incident and they take me to the hospital for a check-up to see if I have any injuries. After a quick stay, no injuries are found. After calling work and explaining the incident, Condeleeza Rice comes to my house and says she wants to go out with me after a bitter divorce. We go out and have fun, telling me about how she was fired from the Bush Administration. We have fun, making fun of her old job and the Prez. Then we get home and head for the sack. The dream then ends. Can anyone interpret this dream?

I once did a paper in college on dream interpretation, this was about 15 years ago so I might be off, but I interpret your dream as an anxiety dream. In the beginning everything goes wrong, you spill your briefcase (briefcase can symbolize something - maybe you are opening up to someone in your life) and then you see the money gone (the money symbolizes something....maybe you feel vulnerable, like you will be taken advantage of). Then you see yourself not looking very well (torn up clothes could symbolize your self image after this happens), then as things couldn't get worse you get beaten up and by people who you consider troubled or maybe socially unacceptable (this could symbolize the person to whom you became vulnerable - your mind is making you place them beneath you to accept what has happened). The next few things are related to anxiety, "trying to hide" and it's "cold outside" and you are unprepared for the weather. Then in the end you find out you are okay and you move on rather quickly, actually placing yourself with a strong woman.

This is a long shot but maybe it is related to a possible relationship you are getting into or maybe a future job you might be considering. Either way, your subconscience seems to be telling you that everything will work out in the end no matter what conflicts are presented. You have to take chances or you will never find true happiness...you shouldn't let fear and anxiety make your decisions.

Now, I could be totally off the mark...but at least I tried... :o)

Money

Sleeping

(since you were sleeping and bad things happened, i would say it has to do with being unaware of something in front of you)

Clothing
To dream that your clothing is torn or ripped, indicates that there is some flaws in your thinking or thought process. Your logic is not making sense. You need to alter your reasoning and make a stronger argument.

Date

To dream that you are on a date, represents you need for self-discovery and self-awareness. The dream may also be a "rehearsal" for an actual date you have. It serves to overcome anxieties you may have.

(I think it also has something to do with someone you admire...but i couldnt find anything saying that)

This is a great dream!

First of all, all the personalities in the dream represent some aspect of yourself. Black people represent the unconscious. Your unconscious is always on your side.

Secondly, the three stages of the dream represent past, present & future.

Based on that starting point, here goes:

In the past, something happened to deprive you of some important, rich aspect of yourself. (Getting robbed of the money.) Associated with that history, were either bad treatment by other people or your own engagement in activities/behaviours that were self destructive - represented by getting beat up by the goths.

In the present, you are trying to put a stop to that behaviour and get some focus, represented by getting help at the police station & hospital. Luckily for you, apparently no long term damage!

In the future, you are preparing to be on better terms with your unconscious (rep'd by Condaleeza). You/she are healthier and happier.

Well, I am not sure if you are a liberal, but here it goes

Losing stuff, getting beaten up = insecurity
Condeleeze Rice = powerful figure, people your trust
Bush = powerful figure, people you don't trust

It seems like you are losing respect somehow and you want to share out your feeling with someone you trust. This Rice figure symbolize someone your trust. You may be losing respect somehow in reality. You subconsciously project political figures in your mind because there are certain things you don't like about those powerful figures or certain things you can't do about them. Basically, you just vent out somewhat your helpless conscience
