i take this powder with my gatorade called gatorlytes which is to prevent cramps but im still gettin cramps during my football game...how can i stop them from coming back?

Water is your best choice. Dehydration leads to cramps. Stretching before games is helpful also. Don't half-*** warm ups(not saying you do). Those two things should help you avoid cramps.

Massaging the problem area before and after games could help too.

Stretch before the games and at the half, stay loose. You also might want to dry drinking more orange juice before your games. Another way that isn't necessarily the tastiest is drinking a shot of pickel juice before the game. You want to keep drinking water, but the important thing is gettin potassium. So you want to drink a lot of water too.

When I played years ago, I got leg cramps also. In addition to staying hydrated, I drank a regular Coke during the half. It helped.

maybe thats whats causing them? ever think? But if i get a cramp u just have to keep going take the pain like real football players do.

ive never used them for sports, but whenever i miss out on stretching for awhile, bananas always help me. dont know where i heard that or why i do it, but i guess its worth a try.

stretch a lot, and ice! before and after practice, ice your thighs, calves, wherever it hurts. good luck
