I have a receiver, but my Local network is somtimes out, is there anyway i can get on internet with just a reciever?

Yes you can if you "borrow" a neighbor's connection or go to a wifi hotspot. Or you can get wifi through a cellular company.

By receiver, I assume you mean the wireless bit that goes into the computer.

It must connect to a router. Even if it's the only device, it has to have something to talk to and you've just made a one-computer network (on one side) that talks to the million-computer-network (on the other side).

once you've cord a lot less internet then it really is what you do flow to wii menu bottom left hand part is wii concepts click it flow to button wii settings press arrow on proper proper nook click internet connection, then hit upon a instantaneous connection, and connect the wii to it in case you dont have instantaneous, then not in any respect ideas

Not really, i mean there is "wireless internet" but thats a whole different story, also you can try getting onto other peoples lans....
