I suppose how weird depends on which family member. Personally I think finding a cousin cute is just part of growing up. Especially when its a family member that maybe doesnt live close so you dont see them often. I dont think its appropriate to act on. And if its a close relative like a sibling its definitely an issue .

Maybe because that person always there for you. That person is like a really good friend to you and have fun with him. Maybe that is why you like that person or to you that person is attractive. It is weird though because its family its just weird.
