he's gonna miss the all star game because of his ankle what do you all think of this?

His first responsibility is to his team and he needs to get healthy for the season so they can secure a playoff spot

I really don't blame him for skipping the All Star game if he does. He's been there and done it. The only thing he's got left to achieve is a championship and him getting more rest will help with that cause.
By the way whats the fun with it anyway, i mean guys like Billups and duncan doing layups all game, there really is no FUN in it anymore. But i am sure Shaq will have something to say about that!

It's very smart and unselfish of Iverson to worry more about the Nuggets than the All-Star game. This is a big change for A.I. to think more about the team than himself for once.

I think it's smart. What good does it do to your team, who is in the playoff hunt, to go to the all star game and play at a less than 100% level and risk further injury to his ankle.
Smart move for him and the Nuggets.

it is not going to make any difference, the west have played before without him, so no difference, it also is not going to effect the east too, because they have arenas starting, and from last year all-star game, iverson did not do a thing

no he's gonna play in it, unless he messes up his ankle even more... and Carmello can't play in the all-star game because he wasn't voted in as a starter nor voted by the coaches as a reserve. The only way he can play in the all-star game is if he gets to replace Carlos Boozer as a reserve.
