Some (rare) web pages require pop ups. For these add them to you pop up exception list.

All web browsers now have built in pop-up blockers. Make sure it is enabled. This makes toolbar pop-up blockers unnecessary. I recommend disabling all toolbar pop-up blockers.

If you are getting a lot of pop-ups you are infected with malware: remove the malware. Fix the problem not the symptoms!

I wouldnt allow them, try the Yahoo toolbar with pop up blocker its quite good.

You have to consider what the popup is for. If a popup is not needed to use the site then don't allow it.

For some sites you must allow a popup. Some sites that Audio and Video steam require you to allow a popup to get and use the player they use.

there is nothing good about a pop-up, stop them any way you can...they are either spam or spyware
