In all honestly, Yu-Gi-Oh is a funny and enjoyable game when you are playing with friends and for fun. It's when you decide to start playing in tournaments that it becomes a total suckfest. Mostly because everyone just happen to have the same exact decks and no one is very friendly because everyone just takes tournaments too seriously.

Of course, this is only my opinion.
