Recently my computer crashed. This computer contained my itunes library. When I got a new computer I loaded itunes to it and connected my ipod. It would not update my songs to the itunes software. Does anyone know how I can download my songs from my ipod to the new version of itunes that is on my new computer? It's so frustrating to know that the songs on your ipod might be earased? PLEASE HELP, this is so annoying.

iPods will only transfer purchased music back to the computer. For your other songs, you need a 3rd party software such as iPod Music Liberator. It's available from Zelek Software.

I've used it with excellent results.
