When you talk about REGIONAL Newspapers, it is being specified to a Particular Region within a specific area...

Say if you are talking about the Gulf Region for instance within the Arab World, we would know it is involving those Gulf Council Countries, and such regional News will Primarily involves those countries only in terms of Oil Production, Crises in the area, Architectural / Civil & Mechanical Construction Development in that region....etc.

But when we talk National Newspapers, it will surely involve LOCAL NEWS...say in one Particular Nation....mostly the one that belongs to France, which is France itself in this context...

Of course the importance lies within the fact that French people will get familiar with & knowledgable about relevant EVENTS & POLITICAL TRENDS in those regions they may have interests in, i.e., Construction Works of all kinds (Bridges, Flyovers, Refineries, Citt Planning...etc.)....So, how would decision-making be made for (BUILDING A NEW REFINERY) for instance in a Region where WAR will POTENTIALLY BREAK OUT or when ECONOMY IS NOT SOUND OR STABLE... ?????

Likewise, when it comes to certain areas within France, where a Minority is having some sort of a Political Control over that specific area... then how would Contracting Co.'s for instance take a decision on venturing though a particular type of a Project had it not been for the National News telling them what's going on around that area or Province....and Economies of Scale...etc.

Examples can vary & extend to include many a sectors beside construction & contracting, but I gave those examples to simplify the issue ....

Hope this is what you are after wih your question....
