I just installed a Canon MP600 printer on my new HP laptop with Windows Vista. Now Internet Explorer 7 will not run. It ran before installation so I assume the printer installation has caused an issue. Can anyone help?

Reinstall IE 7, its buggy like that. I have had to do similar sorts of fixes, but some people just wanted 6 back, so that fixed things immediately

I concur with the firefox statement. IE has many bugs and security issues being that it allows cookies from Microsoft endorsed site.

Try pulling up a regular old window like you my computer window and typing in the URL for firefox, it should pull up a more basic explorer and being you onto the Internet.

Vista is a pain with peripherals. First of all go to lexmark's webite to see if they have vista drivers. Failing that you can try and let Vista search for drivers. When it fails to find any (and it will) and askes you to insert the disc select the "I don't have the disk" option and browse for the driver. Tell Vista to look in C:\windows.
