Salam Afsaneh,

I know you are in Canada and don't know if they have Social security numbers over there but in the U.S. you can always spend $10 on a basic background check on yourself and you will know if they have you in the system or no. That way you will have peace of mind.

Salam Afsaneh

I live in Toronto, and I know the Criminal Record in Canada means that a person goes before a Judge and Judge after all trails found that the person is guilty of crime, then it called the Criminal Record;

A police simple charge has no legal value and "usually " the record would stay in police station and not accessible by others except you, the Crown and police.
