I'm not trying to be argumentative, and I certainly don't want to initiate mudslinging. I have read both sides of this argument, and I just want to understand WHY you believe that Global Warming is a myth. Maybe I'm missing something...?

The global warming argument is another example of politicians and the media taken advantage of people who think with their emotions, and not their brains.A recent report stated that "hundreds of top scientists" agree that global warming is caused by humans.Top scientists? Was there a science olympics that I missed?I use that term loosely at that, because these "scientists" are no more than climatologists (read glorified weatherman). And we all know the reputation weathermen have for predicting weather. These guys actually claim to be able to predict the enviroment one hundred years from now.And you never here about the 18,000 scientists from all disciplines who signed the Oregon Petition stating that "there was no convincing evidence that human activity is responsible, or will be responsible, for any catastrophic heating of the Earth's atmosphere and disruption of the Earth's climate".Seriously people, stop letting the media influence you. They know fear sells.Educate yourself.

Global Warming is not a myth. Dont worry, people will start believing when the east coast starts somewhere in Ohio because the polar ice caps have melted. But dont worry, none of use will live long enough to see that.

They think it is a myth because Al Gore supports it. If Rush Limbaugh said it was true and Al Gore said GW is a hoax, the neo-cons would have the opposite view that they hold now.

They don't care about right and wrong or facts and lies. They only care about pushing their agenda and opposing everyone who disagrees regardless of the outcome.

Because Antarctica is a beautiful vacation spot. Unfortunately, the ice is melting and every once in awhile a scientist dies when the ground cracks open and swallows him whole. We don't regard them as heroes because they're working against the status quo.

Because it was proven in the early 70's that we were going into a heating cycle. One that happens about every 100,000 years. There is a snippet in one of the Popular Science mags of the 70's
