Grossman played how many games.... people how many? Thats right he played 16 GAMES this means he is still a begginer and hasnt really played much. Can you people also believe that in 16 GAMES he has gone to ONE SUPERBOWL, Has Manning done that? No, that old man has never done that,he has way more experience, but just wait till he gets old like Farve, then you will realize that Grossman might be the BEST quarterback in the nfl!
The Bears will grow more and their DEFENSE will get STRONGER than last season..... along with our little fella, Devin Hester. Bernard, and Moose will get more experience in catching. Thomas and Cedric will surely gain more yards this '07 '08 Season. Brian Urlacher will be as strong as a BEAR and will knock the Colts out of their momma horses! So, please, we BEAR FANS must relax as well as those other losers who criticize him. Now i'm sure now that having Grossman has changed your mind in wanting Grossman to stay. Thank you and have a great summer.

Sorry Bro, Grossman will NEVER be one of the best QB's in the NFL. QB's alone do not get the team to The Super Bowl. If Peyton Manning had that Bears defense he'd have 5 championships. Don't EVER compare Rex Grossman to Peyton Manning again, makes you look foolish.
Also Grossman has played 24 games in his career. Not to mention LOL, you call Peyton Manning an old man but he's only 4 1/2 years older than Grossman? sorry 30 isn't much older than 26

I don't think Grossman will ever be the best QB in the NFL. Servicable? Yes. He had a decent season, even though it was full of up and downs. No one out there is questioning young QBS that are true rookies even though they, excluding Vince Young, didn't have great seasons. Grossman has been injured very often and that has to account for something. Even though I'm an Eagles fan I will hold off on my thoughts of what kind of QB Grossman can be for another year or two.

Uh dummy, Manning never had anything close to the defense the Bears had this year. If it wasn't for special teams or defense carrying Grossman, they wouldn't have even made the playoffs. Urlacher is getting an "old man" like Manning. His speed is his strength. Wait til he loses that. THen he'll be average. And now they'll start getting picked apart by free agency. You guys were lucky the NFC was easy this year, be happy with that. So keep dreaming junior, maybe someday you'll understand the NFL.

Grossman is an ok QB he has potential, but i dont think he will be one of the best any time soon. By the way Manning had a crappy game and shouldnt have been the MVP

Sorry, Rex just isn't very good. He makes awful decisions with the ball. Moose has been in the NFL for about 10+ years he is on his way down. Bernard is a slot WR. I don't know if he can't go over the middle or Luvie just doesn't use him right. The jury is still out on him. And manning in in his prime. I like Rex and hope he pulls things together. Just try to narrow your number one fan list to one.
Bottom line the Bears will be better next year.
Griese should have been playing the 2nd drive into the 2nd half. I put the loss more on LUVIE then rex. He got straight up out couched and blew his chance to win by staying with Rex when it was obvious that he was ineffective. His post game should have sounded like Mora: We got our asses totally kicked, could run the ball, didn't try to run the ball, turned the ball over 3 times, could through the ball. We couldn't do diddly poo. Every time they got the ball they went down and got points on our defense we totally sucked.
You got a kick return and 3 fumbles and only got to the red zone by turnover.
But alass you we beat the hell out of my Lions by 30 next year.......I would kill for your team. Sweetness the best to ever play.

to bad all your talk doesn't make grossman any better. get over it he cost them the Superbowl. Brady did it in less than 16 games coming in as a back up than going to the Superbowl and guess what than winning it. sorry man no excuse

You are right that Rex can't get any worse, and the Bears should keep him, and teach him, and let him get his feet under him, because he has been injured a lot and not gotten a whole lot of starting time. That said, he's no where near, nor will he ever be anywhere near the caliber of Peyton Manning or Tom Brady or even a Philip Rivers (who was a virtual Rookie this year)....

Rex
joins the ranks of David Woodley, Vince Farragamo, and Tony Eaison. Guys who played in Superbowls with less than 20 starts.
The result was predictable, pressure got to them.

Grossman is not as bad as people make him seem but he will never be great. If the Bears had a quarterback like Favre,Manning or even McNair they would have won the game.

one question... did u watch the superbowl? he sucked extremely. he was fumbling the ball left and right, he could have been named worst player of the game. bears have potential..but every team does.
also payton manning has a high QB rating due to his ability to play.
