No, there's no way you can do something like this live to the point where you could walk outside with your laptop and see yourself waving back. It would require a satellite above your house at all times.
The pay satellite photo services offer higher quality and maybe newer pictures, but definitely not live footage.

Most of us paid for them satellites to be built,launched and the programs that keep them up there, so they should be no cost. But they aren't. NOAA can show you some stuff, but I heard that terrorists/boogeymen were using livefeed satellite images to place bombs. They are not live feeds anymore, but you can see your house, sorta at noaa.gov, uscgs.gov,nasa.gov,jpl.gov,and them places.

Actually, Yahoo Maps has the Hybrid feature on it, now, and it can show most places.. heck, it even shows my house in my littttttttle town.. LOL..

yes you can use google earth live but it is not free you will have to pay a whole lot money but it is worth it . it's really cool
