Most of the above people are retarded - This century has only been going on for the past 7 years.
With that under consideration, I'd say the best film made this century goes to the Lord of the Rings trilogy, which you can pretty much count as one movie as they were filmed back to back.

I think some people need to be reminded that we entered a new century 7 years ago - perhaps if they weren't so into Cheech and Chong and what goes along with it they would know this - Cheech and Chong were all made last century and The First Movie was the better film.
This century I can't think of anything yet that lives up to stuff made last century such as Goodfellas - I suppose I really did like Brokeback Mountain - it made me cry.

my favourites are three trilogies:
Star Wars prequel trilogy
The Lord of the Rings trilogy
The Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy
Can't wait for PC 3

But personally there is an endless number of movies to pick from, the1s mentioned above are some of my very favourite movies especially lotr, it has a great story and plot!

This century its Donnie Darko. Original and provoking. And a big scary wabbit-man.

It's really funny and the animations are fantastic!!!!! It's storyline is really good too.
The Magic Roundabout
Also very cool, I loved Sam! You can't resist him, he's adorable!
The animation was great but the plot had too many holes in. However, I wasn't expecting Sam to have the last gem inside him.
