Coincidence he was the only one in the room, both times?

E. Pierce Marshall died last year.

The only heirs left to the Marshall fortune are now Stern and the baby.

Evidence points to yes if you think like a lawyer.

He's the one with most to gain. He is a lawyer who does not appear to have a regular job other than attending to Anna Nicole, and he's listed on the birth certificate as the father of Dannielynn. By killing both Anna Nicole and her son, he would be able to control the proceeds from the Marshall fortune should the estate of Anna win or successfully settle the lawsuit. With Anna Nicole dead, he could more easily settle the lawsuit. And, as "legal" father of Dannielynn, who still appears to be located in the Bahamas, he could put up all sorts of legal roadblocks to other gold digging men claiming to be the biological father of Dannielynn to induce them to settle as well.

There are additional suspicious observations. Both Anna and her son were quite young when they died within months of each other under extremely unlikely circumstances. Howard has been reported to be the one who found the son dead. Howard has been reported to have given the son methadone. Anna Nicole has been reported to be taking drugs prescribed for Howard. Howard had been previously reported to have found Anna Nicole unconscious face down in a pool. According to some accounts, Anna died only a month prior to attending a scheduled investigative hearing on her son's death in March.

Interestingly, Howard and Anna have been reported to have engaged in a commitment ceremony that is not quite a marriage. As a lawyer, Howard may have wanted the ceremony to provide evidence that Anna loved him without having to incur the legal obligations associated with marriage.

I was just going to ask the same question until when I saw your question pop up. Anyway, I have a theory and this is what I think:

Howy came to realize that he was not the father and wanted to get his hands on the millions that was to be claimed from the Anna's ex husbands fortune which is in the hundreds of millions. When he realized he was not the father he freaked and most probably went into a rage cause if the kid is not his then he will n ot get shi*. Therefore he planned to hit off the older son, then kill her as a result (in which he did) mysterious deaths huh?? weird.

Typical money sniffing j*w.

He's not an heir, and neither is the baby.... lawsuit and any entitlement to the settlement dies with her. It's over.

Interesting theory...I was kind of thinking she killed herself actually. I guess we'll see if the baby ends up mysteriously dying....
