On the same note, what about a gun? Would the bullet fire? Why or why not?

Actually, the grenade will not explode, but the gun will fire that bullet.

The grenade uses a burning fuse. The length of the fuse determines how long the grenade takes to explode. But you could custom make a grenade with an electrical-circuit fuse or a spring-****** primer. That would explode because the explosive (gun powder or high-explosive) contain the necessary oxygen.

A (hand)gun cartridge uses smoke-less powder. This modern version of gun powder also contains the oxygen it needs. The cartridge uses a primer to fire the bullet. A gun uses a mechanical strike from a "firing pin" to trigger the primer. The primer converts the mechanical motion into a chemical action to fire the powder. Then the burning gas expands in the gun barrel and pushes the bullet out of the barrel.


By the way:
The explosive dispersion of materials is the same in space or in atmosphere. The damage comes from a pressure wave many thousands of atmosphere in magnitude. The explosion will send out it's own matter. And space isn't a perfect vacuum.

Yes the grenade would explode. Gravity has nothing to do with an explosion. A bullet would also get fired because of the same reason. Although the bullet would never stop unless it hit something or got pulled into a gravitational pull of a planet/moon and then eventually hit that.

It would.
Explosives have materials that contain oxygen them selves so no air is needed.
They also have other substances that cause fast chemical reactions, which makes materia expand rapidly -> explosion.
Granades bullets etc. work all.

In space where it is vacuum, there is no air or gas to facilitate explosion (which is sudden expansion of gas). The burn may quickly extinguish inside.
