Boy do I ever agree with Jedi.
Eddie Murphy is garbage! Ever since he got caught with that transvestite he's career went right in the toilet.
It sucks too I loved his earlier films like 48 HRS and Beverly Hills Cop. Not to mention his stand up acts like "Delirious" and "Raw" That's when Eddie was good. He's been washed up for 15 years

I think this movie looks historical! However, I am a huge Eddie Murphy fan and love most of the movies he stars in. Though this looks like a slap-stick type of comedy, with an open mind and good sense of humor I'll bet this will be hilarious!

Norbit probably won't be very good...might be good for a few low-brow laughs, and a lot of times, that's all I'm asking for to be entertained

It's called contractual obligation.
He signed with Disney, they now own him. Once he signed that deal, his career went down the toilet.
The only good thing he did in a very long time was Shrek. He was better when he was stealing scripts.
