6. My mother took me to see the NYC Ballet's Nutcracker when I was 4...I instantly wanted to be a ballerina

10. Besides the physical benefits of cardio-vascular, muscular and strength training, dancing is a way of making contact...between partners, between the performer and the audience, the dancer and the spirit of the universe. We share something special among us when we are dancing.

6.Why did you start dancing? Dancing is a family heritage. It was passed on to me from previous generations. My parents, aunts and uncle danced the Mambo and Cha-cha... I danced the modern salsa and my own (with my group) version of cha-cha-cha with Cuban Son and Casino influences
7.How long have you been dancing? Since I was a child
8.What do you like about dancing? It is fun
9.How does dancing make you feel? Makes me feel good, bliss and a total sense of well being
10.What are the benefits of dancing? Dancing brings wholeness to the dancer, physically (mentally and physiologically) and socially. It has a cosmic power to transform not only the individual and society but also the universe itself.

7. I danced for two years when I was younger...quit for a while and now I've been dancing for close to a year again.

8. You can have fun and you get to listen to music
9. Fast, pretty, getting attention
10. Dancing gives you excercise, a fun hobby, music, a rhythm in your body, a rhythm in your mind, and a ear for music.

I love tap dancing because i get to move my feet! If you are an up beat person or a challenge, you should try tap dancing because it is fast and a little challenging. If you like slow music and gracefulness, ballet is perfect for you.
