Being a minority is always hard. And you are right, people shouldn't care, but if they do, maybe its up to you to be proud and strong...you might not change many peoples thoughts, but you may help mold a future with more pride. Lead by example and don't stop caring, you can make a difference. Take care :)

We should value ourselves no matter what. However, to some extent it does matter what others think because that guides how we are treated. If others are full of ignorance and hate then we are treated with disrespect and worse.
