Question

If a scorpio female can trust you, will there still be a need to have all the power in a relationship?

If that's not the case, for what reasons do Scorpio women feel the need to have all power?

Because we can, that's why! Serioulsy, we have a hard time trusting people because we've been hurt so much, so we figure if we have all the power then we won't be hurt.

I feel like I should give an answer to this question, being one of the Scorpio population of the female gender myself.

Maybe I am an exception to the rule, but I definitely do NOT feel the need to control everything. (they call those people contrl freaks, by the way...) However, my mother, being a Scorpio as well, DOES feel that need.
Now I'll gladly admit that she's more typically a Scorpio than I'll ever be - and I'm glad I'm not typically a Scorpio, I already tell people I'm an Aquarius instead, so they won't back away slowly.

Now this can be explained;
Control addiction is typical to Scorpio. I'm the opposite, I like to BE controlled instead; I don't do anything unless someone orders me to, I'd be nowhere without orders. I'm also too kind to try and control people.
Most scorpios love that control and want more, and then fail to see that they've turned control into manipulation and are actually taking advantage of other people, slowly manipulating them and steadily turning into little dictators.

Now, why that is, why some scorpios do it and others don't, is very easy to explain. In two words.
Personal planets. It's a term for those planets that are near enough to the Earth (and to the sun) to be visibly orbiting in a 360° circle.
Now, first of all, a complete horoscope - a complete blueprint of a person from their birthdate, so to speak - consists out of, among other things, every planet in our solar system, and Pluto. Because it is a map of the sky as viewed from earth at the time of birth, it doesn't include the earth. It does include the sun and the moon, who are both no planets either, but still included.
But for now, the moon isn't really that important.
Now imagine that the sun is in scorpio - that would make someone a scorpio by sign. Then you have the personal planets. They are usually mercury, venus and mars. Now if the sun is in scorpio, there is a good chance that mercury and venus are in scorpio as well; they have a orbit which lies between the earth and the sun, and so as viewed from the earth, mercury is never further than 29° from the sun, and venus never more than 45°. So those two planets are usually in either the sign before, the sign after or the same sign the sun is in. Few exceptions when venus is 2 signs away.
Now if those 2 planets are in the same sign as the sun, the characteristics of the sign the sun is in, will be emphasised, solely for the fact that that sign is represented in more parts of that person's being. The sun represents the ego, but mercury represents the mind, and venus represents - said in an easy way - beauty and love. Now if you not only ARE a scorpio, but THINK like a scorpio and LOVE typical scorpio things, wouldn't you say the chance that a person with those planets there, will act out the typically scorpio-like control madness more than, say, a scorpio who has sun in scorpio and mercury and venus in sagittarius?

(for the record; my mother has all 3 objects in scorpio, I have sun in scorpio and mercury and venus in sagittarius. That's why there's that difference between the two of us)

I am not a Scorpio, I am a Taurus girl but I guess I can answer that question because some of my good friends are Scorpio girls and we talk about what we want in a guy, we just share what we look for in the boys.

The female Scorpio is honest and open up for adventures. They need something to intrigue them in order to feel interested into a guy. If she trust you means she really cares for you and not all the time she wants the power. She is powerful of course but she doesn't want to control all the time. Sometimes she would expect you to take care of the situation, the other time she will take an action. Do not worry to be yourself and to say what you think but watch out not to offend the Scorpio's pride. Play fare game, say what you think and be honest in everything you do, then the Scorpio girl will respect you for the person you are. Of course she will be happy if you appreciate her power sometimes, but she will respect you to see your own power too. When you talk, or when you fall into certain situations, when you discuss a matter, it is important for you to show tolerance, understanding and respect to her opinion (do not worry to have different opinion just respect also her view) and she will appreciate it, even if she doesn't show it be sure it will be appreciated.

And sometimes if she is cautious doesn't mean she cares less, means she cares a lot but she is afraid not to be hurt. You will be the Right guy if you are trying not to insult her intelligence and if you treasure her qualities. When you do not like something she is doing tell it honestly to her and both try to find a way to solve what you do not like in each other. Be there when she needs you and give her freedom and space when she wants it, so she will be there for you too when you need her.

Power is not necessarily about trust. We simply have that quiet depth that somehow intimidates others or just draws them in. It's a magnetism thing, I guess. Hard to explain. But things and people do fall into place for us. Whether we want them to or not.

I do suggest you hold your own, though. Without being aggressive or overly competitive. A scorpio woman WILL lose respect for you if you're run over by that quiet power in us. And once you fall from grace with us, there's no coming back.

But we're well worth it. Once earned, our loyalty is unbreakable. And there's a world of wonders to be found in our depths.

We don't have to have all the power, we are just powerful. That is in our nature. Make sure that doesn't threaten you or you won't last a minute. Your question is actually about control. You don't ever have to submit to anyone else's control whether you are in a relationship or not. If you don't want to be controlled, just don't submit. For scorpio women or anyone.
