Shot to cause ovulation?

Has anyone ever had the hcg trigger shot to make you ovulate?
I am wondering how many people have had success the first time around with this. I was given Femera from days 3-7 and now tomorrow I am due for this shot.

My sister got pregnant that way (boy/girl twins born 12 weeks ago). I don't know how many times she had done the shots before getting pregnant though.

I know a woman who got that done and now she has 2 healthy boys........twin boys but i dont know when
