Ive just sold my windows as im strapped for cash,does anyone have any ideas how i can stop the draft on this chilly night

You can use saran wrap,(or products like that)Look for the thickest that you can find (if you are really tight for money) that you can safely tape around the window. Home Depot and stores like that have several quality temporary plastic thicker "saran wrap" type products that are more durable. The Clerks could help you with how to put them on and how long they last as I don't know. It was warmer but it was still a bit cold when we used these products but it DOES help with controlling the wind. I hope you don't live in a very cold climate. For your bedroom you, could invest in a small plug in heater so that room is your warmest, obviously keep the door closed when doing that. Good Luck with that and finding a way so that you aren't in this situation long.

Steal some polythene sheeting a hammer and some nails and close those gaps and sit in a really big sleeping bag until summer

anyways wrap up warm, get a big nice duvet and a halogen heater, might not work, but thats just an idea!!

jees bet yr a tad nippy then try clingfilm could hold some of the wind and snow coming in or shut yr sen in the shed or did u sell that too??
