Yes you can change the apparence of the color of your eyes with contacts. You can buy them on-line. It is not a permanet change - as soon as you take off the contacts your eyes look the same as before. Pretty much the same deal as clothes - its color is gone from you as soon as you take it off. However, the darker your original eye color, the harder it is to "change" it because the lense needs to be transparent in order for you to see something through it.
No you can't lighten or change the color of your iris permanently. It gets lighter with age, but I'm sure it's not what you want.

You'll just have to wait for old age since your eyes would become lighter then ;). Make the most of what u already have. On the bright side, u can wear any shade of eye make-up. Highlight yr eyes with shimmery shades n mascara and yr eyes will stand out no matter what color they are. Nothin can lighten yr eyes permanently. So contacts r the way to go in that case

Opaque contact lenses are the only way I know of to change/enhance dark eyes. Sorry, they do nothing to your natural eye color. That doesn't mean it's the only way. After watching Dr 90210 I'm convinced there is a cosmetic surgery for just about everything. Be very careful with your eyes. There are a lot of quacks out there. Good luck!!

Yes, colored contacts are pretty much the only way to change your eye color. As for the ones, that claim to permanently alter your eye color, don't believe it. There's nothing you can do to permanently lighten your eyes.

Colored contacts are the only way I know of to change your eye color, and they only work when they're in - they don't permanently change your eyes.

It won't permanently change the color. It's only temporary when you are wearing them but I found that blue & purple changed brown eyes the most, green really didn't do anything.

i really dont know of any other way of changing your eye color other than contacts. but still, those kinds of contacts just change the color of your eyes when you wear them; their temporary.
but still, why would you wanna lighten your eye colour? brown is a really nice eye color.

coloured contacts will do the trick for you, but if there's nothing wrong with ur eyes, why mess with them by putting in a foreign object (viz. contacts)?
but ofcourse, if you already wear contacts, then by all means get the contacts with the colour AND the 'number'!!
and ofcourse NOT, there is NO way to lighten ur eyes other than contacts...

Yes! You can get contacts specifically made for dark eyes. I have dark eyes and I've worn blue, green, and light grey contacts with great results.
