My controller will last me about 5 hours of play time from what I've seen, but I also use it as a DVD remote and haven't actually played 5 hours straight yet. I love the plug in feature though, something that is vastly superior to the AA throw away battery design in some other controllers.

it last aproximetly 18hrs. hey it's better than those 2 AA batteries that the wii controller uses. u got to keep buying them, but what if u don't have any and u run out? i guess you'll be wii out of luck

i have had up to twenty hours of play with a single charge. the instruction manual says the battery will eventually lose its ability to recharge. bummer

i keep mine pugged in with a 10 foot cord.
