Wrestling Fake?

Well ive been hearing from some of my friends that wrestling is fake in WWE but im like no way....?

unfortunetly it is, i no it aint nice to find this out, i didnt no dat either and ma friend kept on tellin me its fake but i kept on sayin no, well then i found out it is. but i still loved it a lot, and watched it with as much passion as before i knew.

and u no wot, its this lil thing dat made me change my mind bout wot career i wana be, now i want to be a creative writer for wwe.

wwe is not entirely fake, there r a few things:

storylines and gimmicks (like the legend killer randy orton, in real life he really respects the legends)

the blood, well its not fake, but did ya no dat they hve a blade/razor hidden in their bands or somethin and cut themselves lightely on the forehead, this is called blading or juicing. Of course it has a real life risk, like eddie guerror (r.i.p) he cut too deep and cut his arteries

i'm not sure whether the matches are planned or not but there r jobbers, jobbers are ppl who lose (their job is to simply lose)

there is some reality, like some wrestlers, they break character or do things which were not planned, this is called shooting, a famous shooter is Edge (Adam Copeland) he speared matt hardy at ecw one night stand, they tried to make it into a storyline but it didnt work

for the wrestlers, they hve gimmicks, some are heels and some are face, face means "nice guy" like john cena and heel means "the baddy" like edge

some storylines are taken from real life, for example the feud between edge and matt hardy coz of lita cheatin on matt, that was real life and they used it as a storyline.

WW*E* is entertainment, and it dont matter to me whether its fake or real anymore coz i still really love it!

Sadly to say my friend, yes it is fake. I had to come to terms with this a few years ago, I used to watch it all the time when the greats were around: Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, when DX was Shawn Michaels, HHH(simply shawn's groupie), Chyna, and Xpoc, and when the Heart Foundation, and the Corporation were around. Nevertheless, all the slammin' top rope drops most of that is real, some of it is exxagerated alot though; pretty much everything else is planned.

Well, All Wrestling is fake. About 45% is real, 15% is fake, and the rest is something is not right as part of storyline, like Owen Hart fell to death is not part of storyline in May 1999

Wrestling, as in the WWE, is choreographed, planned, and executed right down to who will win the match. They practice the falls, and plan out the ways to provide the least amount of injury to each other while doing the maximum 'show'.

They even had a show where people could go learn how to be a WWE superstar, and the winners got a chance to do so.

Well if you have ever watched the reality show, Tough Enough, you can see how they teach the Wrestler wannabees how to get hit with a chair without getting hurt and other such things.

Doesn't mean they aren't athletic people, but they are basically stunt people putting on a show. They have side stories that they have created to make it kind of like a mini soap opera too.

Yeah some of what they do is technically wrestling, but if you have ever watched UFC you can see the difference.

I recommend UFC, Pride, or one of those to you. They are a lot better.

ah ya its called "sports entertaiment" yes it is "fake" all the mathces are set before hand you will read reports that some matches are real I am a pro wretsler have been for almost 8 years and I have never heard of match being real at all it s a show it is dangerous and takes alot of trianing to do it but it is entertaiment

I'm sorry my friend but WWE wrestling is indeed fake. all the punches and blows to the face are all fake. wrestlers are actually actors and they practice about 6 hours a day trying to get the fight memorized! the more the people like the wrestler the More fights he will win.

About 75% is. The matches are pre-determined and they rehearse the moves but you can't fake falling on somebody, the blood is real, and accidents do happen.
