Order of the Phoenix. It was a very powerful story for me on many levels.
If I had to pick my least fav, I guess it would be Chamber of Secrets, just because it's story structure (mystery plot) is similar in vein to Sorcerer's Stone.
I love the films, too - they're just variations of the books.
Can't wait for OOTP in July & Book 7!!! :)

My favorite Harry Potter book is The Goblet of Fire because it's the longest and the most exciting. The books are way much better than the movies.

I loved the Half Blood Prince. Even though Dumbledore is killed at the end, it FINALLY feels like something really huge is happening. It's the only book that has really had me wondering what's going to happen in the end. I am SO excited for the last book. I think that the murder of Dumbledore was actually an act that Snape and Dumbledore made appear to be real. I think it was meant to draw Voldemort more into the public so that Harry would have a better chance of fighting him. Dumbledore will be back in book 7, but maybe in hiding. (At least, that's what I hope happens)

I sort of like the books better... mostly because they go into more detail about Diagon Ally and the Wesley's house... two places I wish I could visit!!!!!!

My favorite at the moment is Order of Phoenix. I HOPE they put the Fred and Charlie indoor swamp into the movie, but I know it probably got cut to keep the movie short and more to the point. I wish they made extended versions of the movies like they did for Lord of the Rings... oh well, they will probably remake the movies in 20 years like they do a lot of good classic movies.

Ok, I don't want to know if I really want to admit this, but here goes.

I am a 42 yr old mother of 3. We own all of the books. We bought all of the audio books so that we can even listen to them in the car. They are great for vacations. We own all of the movies. We have all of the PC games and even a couple of the GBA games for it too. There, I feel so much better that you know this now. lol Oh, and yes, we do have a very busy life outside of HP.

Anyway, our whole family loves OOTP because of Professor Umbridge. She is such a witch. No pun intended. We all see a ton of growth and maturing in all of the charactors and it is fun to see Hermione and Ron get closer. We can't wait for the movie and Deathly Hallows to come out.

If I HAD to choose a favorite book, I'd pick Prisoner of Azkaban. I love the Marauders and especially Sirius. But they are all so wonderful! And I am so excited and sad about 07/21/07!

My fave book is the sixth one because it's really dark and Harry is much more mature. The book is so deeply involved with itself; everything so intricate and intertwined...There is a lot of mystery to it. My favorite movie is the fourth one even though the quidditch match was cut out (GO IRELAND). The humor is excellent and really subtle.
