Ice packs are fine--another option is put a few cabbage leaves in the freezer and then put them in your bra--it sounds silly but really works!

You actually do not have any milk in your breasts until AFTER the baby is born...if you are 1 month pregnant you can't freeze your breast milk....there isn't any milk to freeze!

If you're breasts are sore, you can try an ice pack...I know mine were unbearably sore and swollen!

Good luck!

if ice makes you feel better go for it, for me it would make it worse because the skin would tighten , letting the warm water from the shower hit them helps a little, sports bras or any additional support will help, i have never tried the cabbage leaves lol but its worth a shot, whatever you need to do for relief, it gets better through the pregnancy but gets way worse right after the baby is born and your milk comes in, and make sure you keep your nipples moist so they dont crack when you breastfeed. Motherhood maternity sells something called udder cream that helped me a lot.
Good luck and congratulations

lol, no no, don't do a thing. Trust me, the pains will get worst. The swelling breast is only the beginning. Just use your womanly strength to redirect those pains. Don't ice them. Ice is used to reduce swelling, but your breasts are swollen not because of being sore, but because of the hormonal changes occurring in your body.

You are not going to freeze your milk. I don't even think you start producing milk in the first month. I would suggest just wearing a sports bra...that helped me. I went up 3 sizes in the first 3 months and it was very painful....good luck!

There are no stupid questions, only stupid answers.
You don't have milk yet, so if you think it will help, go for it. Maybe try something warm first like a hot water bottle, or a nice bath.
Good Luck!

I used a wet cloth I put in the freezer for about 15 min. on them. worked wonders, and I didn't have to worry about melting ice!
I never tried the cabbage leaf thing, but I've heard that's good too.

You can ice them.. you do not have any milk yet. You will be fine. It is just your hormones. You will not have milk til you are closer to the end of your pregnancy. Good luck and congrats!!
