Reality TV star and former Playboy playmate Anna Nicole Smith was pronounced dead Thursday after being found unconscious in her Florida hotel room, a law enforcement source told CNN. Smith's son, Daniel Wayne Smith, died just days after the birth of Smith's infant daughter.

This is a very mysterious and shocking death. Anna Nicole has been in the news so much lately due to the death of her son, the birth of her daughter, and all the lawsuits against her. Not to mention the never ending chase by the press who never left her alone. Even though she tried to find peace in the Bahama's, they followed her there.
I think it is terribly sad for anyone that young to die after having gone through so much heartache in her life. Her baby girl was the one bright spot and now she won't have her mother.
I wonder what in her medical history wasn't known to have caused her death? Cardiac arrest, pulmonary embolism, medication interactions, infection or blood loss? I heard she had a fever last night, did she have an infection of some kind?
Whatever the cause, it will come out in time. But this is very sad news indeed.

I am in total shock! I don't know if I would call myself a "fan" in every since of the word, but I have always been interested in her story. She was a woman that came from a very modest background and all of a sudden she was very wealthy and famous. Even with all the money and fame, she was still a human being and seemed down to earth. She just wanted to live her life with her new baby and that lawyer dude and be left alone. I can't imagine how much stress she has been under since her son's death. I am really saddened to hear of her death. My heart goes out to her baby. I just wish she could have made peace with her mother before she died.

I feel so bad for her and that poor baby! I am shocked about the whole thing, as was I when her son died last september. I think the stress of Daniel's death and that photographer trying to force her into a paternity test are what killed her. I mean a person can only handle so much before they break down. I also hope the lawyer, Howard Stern is the baby's father. He is who she trusted and would want her daughter to be with him instead of that other guy.

I think it is tragic and very sad, and I feel sorry for her family, with the loss of her son Daniel recently and now Anna Nicole dead with a young baby.
The early details I have heard about her death sound suspicious, and I wonder if, feeling the pressure of a new baby, losing her son, and the paternity suit, she just cracked and committed suicide

How tragic is this?....Not very. I do not think society would ever benefit from her being alive. However, it is pretty sad, that her baby daughter has no mother....does she even have a father? Was it ever concluded her father was?
I am not in shock, ANS seemed like she was on drugs all the time (legal and illegal) so no this does not shock me.
She probably died from a drug OD or lethal drug combonation, I am sure TrimSpa and cocaine don't mix. If it was not from that then, I am not sure.

No matter if you loved her or hated her a child is now left alone without a mother and no clue as to which dad is really hers. That is what is sad. She was our modern day Marilyn Monroe reincarnated. Any death is sad and especially those that care untimely and could of been avoided.

Its sad that her baby will grow up without her mother but Anna Nicole was an accident waiting to happen.

I feel bad about her daughter, that's awful.
I didn't really like her that much, and I couldn't STAND her show lol.
Maybe she died from trimspa, but it seems like alcohol poisoning or something like that might be easy to see as a cause of death.

I am very shocked.I think just about eveyone is.Ididnt expect this at all.I feel very sad for her daughter and family.To bad she had to die a heartbroken person.......I think she died because of a broken heart and depression.
