they could be a cheap pair of flip flops from asda covered in mud

You have not told us, how!! you have one of Ghandi's!!!
I do find that difficult to believe, but if you say so.
If! you 'did' have one from Ghandi....one would 'hope' your morals would kick in.
E-Bay is hardly ? the place to put it in for selling.....it belongs in a museum....certainly NOT on e-bay!
So hence............I have great difficulty in believing YOU!!!
