Is there really a "wrong" way to fold a towel? My girlfriend states that there is, but I don't understand.

I'm particular about the way I fold my towels. That's because I have limited space to store them and I figured out the best way to fold them to fit them in that space. If someone helps me out by folding them for me, I don't complain if the towels aren't folded the way I'd do it.

It is not a matter of right or wrong but more a matter of the few seconds in time it saves when you take it out of the cupboard to hang it up. If you start with a length wise fold all you have to do is unfold the smaller folds and hang it up and not have to re fold it to do so. Stupid, eh?

Yes, there's only one right way to do each and every little house work and your girlfriend is the only one who knows all, you must follow her instructions. Your mind can't find peace with wrong folded towels, dishes washed in wrong order or wrong dusted furniture.
I know you still don't understand, I haven't been able to convince my husband for five years either.

I agree with your girlfriend. I fold my towels a certain way and any other way is wrong to me.

Who does the laundry? If you're helping, I personally wouldn't complain.

In my house, there is only one way to fold a bath towel, but then, I'm the one washing them. :)
