If you are an English speaker, the planet is called "Earth". The French call it "le Monde", the Romans called it "Terra". Perhaps you are a Roman?

The average temperature is about 15°C. Without the greenhouse effect it would be some degrees below 0°C and there would be little life on the planet.

The International Standard Atmosphere (ISA), which is used in aviation, states the earth's surface temperature is 15C. It also assumes the surface pressure to be 1013 mb.
