Measure it. Measure each room Length and width. Then multiply the two. That is your s/f for that room. Then add all together. Your you could go on line to your town hall and look it up. If they are not on line, go to the town hall directly.

Square footage or "Gross Living Area" includes all above grade finished areas (even if your basement is finished, it is not included). Enclosed porches can count as long as it is heated and cooled, and similar in quality to the rest of the home. If you have a rectangular house, then length x width (x2 if 2 story) will give you the square footage. If your home is not rectangular, sketch it out, and note all of the exterior measurements. From there, break it down into rectangles and use the length x width formula, then add up each section to arrive at the square footage
