So is there any Tornados in Fort Worth Texas?

I'm planning to move over ther but don't know if it'll be a good aread to live in or if weather is really bad there.

Yes, that part of Texas is tornado prone. Please don't let that effect your decision to move. Even in the worst tornado prone areas the risk to an individual is so low it isn't even worth thinking about. You are much more likely to die in a traffic accident than from a tornado.

O.K. that was the reassuring side, now here's the disaster monger side. One of the great disaster show favorites is a F5 twister hitting down town Dallas. Compressed between skyscrapers, winds could go over 500 mph. All the glass windows of the high rises would explode and hundreds would die. Thousand would be injured.

But in reality stuff like that doesn't happen. Yellowstone won't erupt, a meteor won't hit and a big hurricane won't zero in on New Orleans. Hope I helped.

Texas is somewhat known for its tornados as well as some other states. Dont be discouraged from moving there though. I live in waco about 2 hours from Ft worth and theres only been a couple of tornados in my area and usually theyre not bad, not the ones from horror stories. They usually dont last to long and arent to powerful also, theres plenty of warning when they come.

There are occasional tornados in that part of the country, but not too often. I wouldn't make my decision on where to move based on the presence or absence of tornados...They are too rare and to random to really worry about, in my opinion. Ft Worth is really a pretty nice city...
