To Oh-Milant - This picture isn't my son. I just got it off the internet to prove a point.
My point is .......... we teach our children things without words by what we do and the example we set. They want to be like us. So what are YOU teaching your kids?

I do not have kids, but I have neices and nephews. I teach them to be kind to each other and animals and how important it is to have respect for other human beings.

To live a moral life. To pray and worship and always be patient even when it seems like everyone is against you. To stand tall for what you believe. To prove to the world that you are moral with your actions and not to waste words because it is rare that people believe your words unless they can see them in action. To study and work hard and get the most education you can because education will lead to a better future. To help those that need help, but to do it in a way that does not compromise your morals or let them use you. Ie: give the drunk begger on the corner a bag lunch, not money that could be spent to fuel his addiction.
To be friendly and be clear in the messages you send to others. To always smile and say a friendly word even when someone is stareing at you like you have a bomb underneath your Muslim clothing.
And that everyone, even your worst, enemy has potential to be a friend.
And most of all-
The true servants of the Most Merciful are those who behave gently with humility on earth, and whenever the foolish quarrel with them, they reply with peace. (25:63) Quran

MOSTLY KINDERGARTEN AND 1ST GRADE CRITERIA ALSO THINKING SKILLS AND COMPREHENSION. NOT TO MENTION EVERYDAY WORDS OF WISDOM. ALSO TO RESPECT HIS MOTHER AND TO BE A LEADER!! HES 3, HES MY WORLD!
